Announcement: 9 September 2026. Retrospective report prepared on 14 September 2026.

Accurascale confirmed on 9 September that production of its latest APCM Cemflo wagon batch was complete. The returning range focuses on pre-TOPS Metro-Cammell-built vehicles carrying the distinctive Blue Circle advertising boards.
The manufacturer said it had inspected the decorated production samples for printing, assembly and finish before approving the batch. The models were being prepared for shipment from China, with arrival at Accurascale expected in late October 2026.
The announcement places these wagons in the cement traffic of the 1960s and early 1970s. Accurascale points to block-train operation on both the East Coast and West Coast main lines, making the release of interest to modellers planning a dedicated cement working.
The key development is completion of manufacturing, rather than immediate availability. The forecast refers to arrival with the supplier; customer dispatch follows shipping and warehouse processing. Modellers matching an existing fleet should also note the pre-TOPS focus of this run, rather than assuming it represents every period of Cemflo operation.
