N gauge goods stock gets another useful addition in Dapol’s November programme, with LMS and NE gunpowder vans announced on 16 September 2026.
The proposed releases depict LMS No. 299037 and NE No. 71415. Both are offered pristine or weathered, giving modellers a choice between a clean starting point and a ready-weathered finish.
The planned versions
- 2F-013-101: LMS 299037, pristine.
- 2F-013-102: LMS 299037, weathered.
- 2F-013-105: NE 71415, pristine.
- 2F-013-106: NE 71415, weathered.
Recommended prices are £11.88 for pristine examples and £13.22 for weathered models. Dapol says decorated samples have arrived and are under review; pre-orders can be placed through its stockists. Sample decoration is still subject to change.
Small wagons can make a satisfying modelling project in their own right. A distinctive van invites us to think about the traffic our railway serves, rather than simply adding length to a train. Before assigning one to a working, it is worth researching the appropriate handling and train formation for the chosen location and period.
