Rail-Ex Taunton
VERIFIED EVENT LISTING
Rail-Ex Taunton brings more than 30 layouts, traders and demonstrations to Taunton School, with a show guide and on-site catering.
About this event
Rail-Ex Taunton takes place at Taunton School, Staplegrove Road, TA2 6AD, on 24–25 October 2026. Organised by Somerset Railway Modellers Club, it opens 10am–5pm on Saturday and 10am–4pm on Sunday.
The organisers advertise more than 30 layouts across a range of scales, together with trade stands, societies and demonstrations. The show guide includes a floor plan and layout descriptions, helping visitors find exhibits and learn about the railway settings they portray.
Swindon Model Railway Club lists Wood Street and Lintor Town for this year’s Taunton show. South Hants MRC’s calendar also confirms Westcliff, providing several named exhibits to look out for.
Free parking is provided, with Blue Badge spaces close to the exhibition. The school restaurant offers meals, including a Sunday roast. Check the Rail-Ex website for admission prices and the latest visitor information as the show approaches.
