Hornby’s autumn delivery outlook: what the latest retailer update tells us

Rails has published a Q4 delivery outlook across Hornby Hobbies, including OO and TT:120 railway products.

If you are waiting for a pre-order, the latest delivery information may be more useful than another announcement. Rails of Sheffield published a Hornby Hobbies outlook on 6 October 2026, covering products expected during the final quarter of the year.

The headline total of more than 150 items spans Hornby, Scalextric, Airfix, Corgi and Pocher. It is not a count of 150 new railway models. For railway modellers, the report provides separate routes into OO and TT:120, with locomotives, rolling stock and trackside items among the categories.

Products are grouped by expected October, November and December arrivals. Those are forecasts: the retailer specifically notes that international shipping can affect the dates and directs customers to individual listings for more precise estimates.

My approach would be to check the catalogue number on an existing order, then its current estimate, before reorganising a modelling project around it. It is a useful planning update, but I would not treat a forecast month as a guaranteed delivery day or a promise of Christmas availability.
