Märklin unveiled its autumn 2026 selection on 14 September, with new catalogue entries across H0, Gauge 1 and Z. There is plenty to browse for modellers whose interests extend beyond British prototypes.
One headline item is the H0 Union Pacific type 3900 Challenger, catalogue number 39913. Märklin’s Dutch announcement lists it at €949. A US heavyweight passenger coach set, 43629, also features in the range.
From a works locomotive to Gauge 1
Other H0 highlights include the Győr works locomotive, 38280, and two FlixTrain coach sets, 42957 and 42958. Gauge 1 gains an E 60 electric locomotive, 55606, while the Z selection includes a Max Bögl V 60 shunter and a postal V 36.
That spread of subjects is part of the pleasure of an autumn catalogue: a headline locomotive draws us in, then an unfamiliar little shunter starts suggesting an entirely different layout.
